“Thirstday.” AKA, Thursday to the general public. To college students, Thirsty Thursday is a weekly holiday. It is the start of the weekend and the start of partying. For a college like Plymouth State, you’re known for having fun.

Parties are all fun and games, if you now how to be safe while doing it. Now, for some people, they seem to forget the word “safety” when it comes to partying. We’ve all seen those crazy frat boys at party who jump onto a table, breaking it in half. It’s like these people feel absolutely no pain when they’ve had a little too much to drink. It’s like they’re super heroes or something. Weekends are the best time for college students. No class, no responsibilities, procrastinating work, and letting loose. Thursdays are the start to the weekend for most college students, who hate having classes on Fridays so they make their schedule accordingly. Once Thursday comes around it’s almost like a weight is lifted off of your shoulder and you can breathe. “Hey man what day is it?” “Thursday bro.” “Oh no way? Thank god, time to get lit!”

Not only is Thursday the best day of the week school wise (because the week is almost over), it’s the best day of the week party wise. Thursdays are when parties are the craziest. There are parties EVERYWHERE. You will never be disappointed by a Thursday. People will do anything to be able to go out and have fun on a Thursday even if it’s 37 degrees and raining, still gonna send it.
